DESIGN ACTION NEPAL

The Improved Fog Collection project focused on the identification of low cost fog collection materials to provide clean, point of use water resourses and help marginalized communities adapt to increasing water scarcity. Material testing in Seattle, WA and Lima, Peru reveled that Enkamat turf reinforcement mat collected up to 2.5 times more water than traditional fog collection materials. Findings are published in the Journal of Sustainable Water in the Built Environment and were taken to scale as part of the Fog Water Farms project
